As Director, I oversee the day-to-day running of Lee Abbey London. What I enjoy most is helping people develop new life skills and get the most out of their experience of living and working here.
I’m married to Mike and have been at Lee Abbey London for two years. I help with pastoral care and the administration of Lee Abbey.
I have a background in NHS Management and the Hospitality Industry. I joined the team in 2016 and love working here. I’ve spent the last 3 winters travelling abroad so I am missing the sun a little bit.
I joined the community in 1998 and I met my wife, Monika, here. I’m from South Africa. I love meeting people from around the world and seeing them grow in their faith through being part of this community.
I’m a transplant to the UK from the US, via the Netherlands and Israel. I enjoy jazz, Ethiopian coffee, London markets and curried goat with rice and peas.
Though I live outside Lee Abbey with my wife and family, I love coming to work here every day, and have done so for 16 years.
I’m the practical, go-to person when things need fixing. I was a teacher for 20 years and have been a gospel singer and worship leader for just as long. I love music, drama, playing my guitar and binge-watching Netflix.
I’m from Germany. I first joined Lee Abbey London in 2015, working with the community, member and I’m excited about starting this new role as housekeeper. I love meeting friends, travelling and going shopping.
I like to ensure that our facilities are well looked after andam constantly looking for ways to improve the living spaces. I love anything to do with the outdoors, I especially enjoy a good bonfire.
I like to welcome people to this place that they will call home. I love horses and I like skiing especially on Norway’s beautiful mountains.
