Lee Abbey is staffed by a resident Christian community and as such its’ members live and work according to Christian values, primarily in our offering of service and hospitality. We strive to provide a ‘home from home’ for all our residents and guests irrespective of their religious beliefs.

We are committed to providing our residents and guests with the best that we can offer in terms of clean rooms, nutritious food and a friendly atmosphere.

Lee Abbey is a Church of England foundation and the community includes members from many Christian traditions. Although residents are welcome to join in our worship it is not expected of them neither are they are put under pressure to change their beliefs.

The Mission Statement of the Lee Abbey movement is ”Communicating Christ Through Relationships”. It is by the witness of our work, worship and relationships with one another that the community communicates the love of Christ for all humankind.

Prayer is an important part of Christian life and the community gathers for prayer each morning, afternoon and night. Residents are prayed for on a regular basis and they may request prayer at any time.
